Tidal Flats

8 x 10 Oil on canvas

This is from a photo taken on a sailboat. The colors from all the different water depths, some shallow with sand or grass, really created these stripes. The greens and blues were of every shade. I think I will try a larger painting making the transitions a bit softer.

    Great depth in this painting. You can really feel that you are looking through water in the foreground. I like the feeling of wind in the background.
