I have to give Karin Jurick a lot of credit, painting figures so small is difficult. I seem to get proportions much easier if I draw them bigger. You have to have the right eye for condensing everything, she has a great talent!

You did a great job on these two girls. Their poses seem so natural. I like the bits of orange/red throughout the painting. You are right about Karin Jurick...especially her earlier stuff. She put so much into that 6x6. I think she is trying to loosen up a bit now. I noticed in her blog that she is experimenting with an orange ground rather than painting on black like she normally does. Everyone is searching for a personal style, I guess!
